Bathroom is a wet zone of your house, and it collects lots of dirt and bad smells.

If you want to keep your bathroom odorless, then you need to take proper care of it.

Here are some tips on how to do it.

Ventilation

Good airflow helps remove odors and prevents them from lingering.

Clean Regularly

Clean the toilet, sink, bathtub/shower, and floors with appropriate cleaning products.

Don't forget to clean hidden areas like behind the toilet and under the sink.

Use Air Fresheners

Opt for products with scents that you find pleasant, or choose natural alternatives like essential oils.

Natural Deodorizers

Place bowls of baking soda or vinegar in the bathroom to absorb unpleasant smells.

You can also mix a few drops of essential oil with water in a spray bottle for a refreshing spritz.

Remove Moisture

Use a squeegee or towel to dry surfaces after showers or baths.

Fix any leaks promptly and ensure proper ventilation to prevent excessive humidity.

Regularly Change Towels and Mats

Regularly launder towels and wash or replace bathroom mats to keep them fresh.

Address Toilet Odors

If the toilet bowl has persistent odors, use toilet bowl cleaners or tablets specifically designed to combat odors.

Maintain a Clean Drain

To prevent odors from drains, periodically flush them with boiling water, or use a mixture of baking soda and vinegar followed by hot water.

Fix Plumbing Issues

Persistent bad smells may indicate plumbing issues like a blocked vent or sewer gas leakage.
