If you are thinking about how to keep the bouquet fresh, place it in settled water at room temperature and change it every day. It is advisable to cut the stem by 2-3 centimeters at each change of water. It is important to observe the temperature regime for storing plants.

How to save a bouquet of flowers

Use settled or boiled water at room temperature for your bouquets. A tablespoon of citric acid or vinegar softens hard water.

Half a tablet of aspirin, a teaspoon of salt or alcohol will help prevent rotting of the stems. Sugar (1-2 tablespoons added to water) will extend the life of fresh flowers.

What to do if the bouquet smells bad

For aesthetic reasons (turbid water, water with an unpleasant odor), you should change the water in the vase. But remember that if you use the correct amount of cut plant food, you won't need to change the water for as long as the flowers are in the vase. Just add water with the addition of top dressing.

Spray the buds regularly with water from a spray bottle. This will refresh them and slightly nourish them with moisture.
Trim stems when changing water. It will not be superfluous to do this under running water, washing them.
Remove dead leaves, withered buds and dried inflorescences.
