Is it possible to clean velor
It is not recommended to rub velor upholstery thoroughly. If the stain is already there, you need to get rid of it.
It is better to clean it if it has become dirty recently. Regular dirt can be removed with soapy water.
How to clean velor at home
Sprinkle starch, talcum powder or table salt on a fresh greasy stain.
They absorb fat well. Gently wash the stain mark with a soapy solution from dish gel (1:1 aqueous solution of vinegar).
Wipe with a clean damp cloth and blot dry with a clean cotton cloth.
If you have velor, flock or chenille, sprinkle the stained area with salt (with small grains) or baking soda.
This will help absorb any remaining fat. If the contamination is not severe, you can leave the salt for 30 minutes.
Nevertheless, if, for example, you dropped a chicken, you need to fill the area for 4 hours.
How to refresh velor
To refresh the appearance of velor pile, go over it with a brush with medium-hard bristles.
Dry cleaning and bleaches are prohibited in caring for velor.
