Instant coffee has its own special taste and aroma. This is a good option for those who do not have time to wait until the drink is brewed in a Turk or coffee machine.

For brewing, it is enough to pour 1-2 tablespoons of the product into a cup and pour hot water over it. Cooking takes no more than five minutes.

Main production processes

First, green coffee beans are processed: sorted and cleaned. Then fried and quickly ground.

The mixture of coarse grinding is placed in a special machine for brewing. The method is similar to what happens in a coffee machine: water flow, high pressure, temperature 85 °C.

You can also compare the process with brewing in a Turk. The main difference is volume. Instant coffee is produced on an industrial scale.

The finished mass is placed in containers where excess moisture is removed from the product. A similar technique is used in the preparation of condensed milk. The extract is then processed in one of two ways:

  • "Spray dry" - sprayed with a stream of hot air: high temperature and pressure turns coffee into powder.
  • "Freeze dry" - the coffee mass is sublimated and then subjected to low temperature treatment.

Thus, the manufacture of an instant drink consists of several main stages:

  1. Cleaning;
  2. Roasting;
  3. Grinding;
  4. Welding;
  5. Liquid evaporation;
  6. Grinding into powder.

All processes take approximately 2.5 hours, which is quite fast for production.
