Envy is a negative feeling caused by the success of another person. Usually envy is defined as a special form of anxiety and often has destructive consequences for the individual.

Experiencing envy, a person perceives someone else's luck or success in any area as an insulting injustice towards himself.

Put the focus on yourself

You must understand that the feelings that you experience are not related to specific people, but to you.

The emergence of envy is influenced by the uncertainty that you are able to achieve something and get what you want in your life.

Other than that, you cannot know what kind of life and difficulties a person really has.

However, the feeling that you are worse than the rest is extremely painful and unpleasant.

Shift your focus from other people to yourself. Write down on paper all your skills, strengths and achievements: the smallest and the largest.

Feel that you have unique abilities. Use your strengths in dealing with people and work.

Turn envy into inspiration

Your life can change if you change the way you think.

Change the pattern of scarcity to abundance. Think not about what you don't have, but about what you can get.

The success of other people is not an obstacle, but can serve as an example and inspiration on your way.

Try to get to know and talk to the person who makes you feel bad. Therefore, you can reduce the level of emotional stress and prejudice.
