You have to walk your dog regularly, unless you want to clean your house daily - and it's especially important for those who rent apartments.

To make sure that no accidents will happen, you should have a schedule of when and how often you should walk your dog.

Here are a few tips on how to make one.

Set a regular time

Choose a specific time each day for your dog's walk. This helps establish a routine and makes it easier for both you and your dog to remember.

Plan for consistency

Aim to walk your dog at the same time every day, if possible. Dogs thrive on predictability, so sticking to a consistent schedule is beneficial.

Consider your dog's needs

Take into account your dog's age, breed, and energy level when planning the duration and intensity of the walks. 

High-energy breeds may require longer or more frequent walks compared to smaller or less active dogs.

Break it up if needed

If you have a busy schedule, you can split your dog's daily walk into multiple shorter sessions. 

For example, a 30-minute walk in the morning and another in the evening can still provide sufficient exercise.

Be flexible when necessary

While consistency is important, it's also essential to be flexible.
