Kittens can be quite curious in terms of trying out new food, but it doesn't mean that you should allow them eat whatever they want.

Their bodies aren't suitable for digesting lots of things, so you should make sure thair diet is healthy for them.

Here are some things your kitten isn't supposed to eat.

Cow's Milk

Many kittens are lactose intolerant, which means they can't properly digest the lactose in cow's milk.

It can lead to upset stomach, diarrhea, and gas. Instead, use specially formulated kitten milk if necessary.

Bones

Avoid giving kittens bones, especially small and cooked bones. They can splinter and pose a choking hazard or cause internal injuries.

Opt for boneless, well-cooked, and finely shredded meat if you want to provide them with meat.

Raw Eggs

Raw eggs may contain harmful bacteria like Salmonella, which can make kittens sick. Cooked eggs are fine, but avoid giving them raw.

Onions and Garlic

These can damage a kitten's red blood cells and cause anemia.

Even small amounts can be harmful, so it's best to keep them away from allium vegetables.

Chocolate and Caffeine

These contain substances called theobromine and caffeine, which are toxic to cats, including kittens.

They can cause heart problems, restlessness, and even be life-threatening.

Grapes and Raisins

These fruits can be toxic to kittens and may lead to kidney problems. It's better to be safe and keep them out of reach.

Bones from Fish

Fish bones are small and sharp, posing a choking or injury risk.

Be cautious when feeding fish to kittens, and ensure it's boneless and properly cooked.

Excessive Salt

Avoid giving your kitten overly salty foods like potato chips or processed human snacks.

Too much salt can lead to salt poisoning and other health problems.

Dog Food

Cats, including kittens, have specific dietary needs that are different from dogs. Dog food doesn't provide the right nutrients for cats.
