Items that your body comes into direct contact with in bed should be washed in the washing machine once a week.
This includes sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers.
A set of white linen is washed at 40-60 degrees; if heavily soiled, the temperature is increased to 95 degrees.
Wash with a product “for white”, the “soak” mode is recommended.
For colored items made from printed chintz or calico, use a “colored” product, the temperature does not exceed 40 degrees.
Delicate fabrics are processed at minimal temperatures.
It is advisable to do this manually.
If the question is in what mode to wash bed linen in a machine, the choice is obvious, and this is delicate care.
Linen and cotton are more durable in this regard: in some cases, a 90-degree mode is recommended.
If the items contain serious dirt, it is recommended to soak them in warm water with washing powder for 2-3 hours, then wring them out, place them in the drum of the washing machine and wash as usual.
It is also possible to use a mode that includes soaking.
It is better to place the dryer on which you will hang clothes in a well-ventilated room, so things will dry faster.
The bathroom (too humid) and the kitchen/dining room are not suitable for this (things will absorb odors).
It is best to dry clothes at room temperature and in a draft.
