Even though most people can't imagine their Christmas feast without meat, vegetarians have lots of delicious food as well!

If you are a vegetarian, or you have vegetarian friends and relatives, then you can cook nice meatless dishes for them.

Here are a few ideas proving that food doesn't have to contain meat to be delicious!

Stuffed Butternut Squash

Roast butternut squash halves filled with a flavorful stuffing of quinoa, cranberries, and pecans.

Mushroom Wellington

Create a savory mushroom Wellington by wrapping a mixture of sautéed mushrooms, spinach, and garlic in puff pastry.

Bake until golden brown for a delightful centerpiece.

Vegetable Ratatouille

Serve a vibrant vegetable ratatouille with layers of thinly sliced zucchini, eggplant, and tomatoes.

Bake until tender and garnish with fresh herbs like basil and thyme.

Cauliflower Roast

Roast a whole cauliflower brushed with a mix of olive oil and herbs.

This impressive dish can be carved at the table and served with a rich mushroom gravy.

Quinoa-Stuffed Bell Peppers

Stuff colorful bell peppers with a quinoa and black bean mixture seasoned with cumin and paprika.

Bake until peppers are tender, and serve with a tomato salsa.

Sweet Potato and Lentil Curry

Warm up the table with a hearty sweet potato and lentil curry.

Infused with aromatic spices, it's a comforting dish that pairs well with rice or naan.

Pumpkin Risotto

Elevate your feast with a creamy pumpkin risotto.

Cook Arborio rice with pumpkin puree, vegetable broth, and a touch of nutmeg for a luxurious texture and flavor.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Whip up creamy garlic mashed potatoes as a classic side.

Infuse the mashed potatoes with roasted garlic for an extra depth of flavor.

Previously, we talked about cooking grigliata.
