Some foods are not nearly as healthy as we used to think.
What foods are really bad for you
Fruit juices are actually no different from sugary carbonated drinks.
Both of these drinks contain large amounts of sugar.
Even if the juice is completely natural, some of the beneficial things are destroyed during production.
Therefore, it is best to eat unprocessed, fresh fruits and vegetables.
The same goes for sports drinks and salad dressings.
These products contain large amounts of sugar, trans fats and other food additives.
If you want to dress your salad, it's best to make your own dressing. For example, from olive or sesame oil.
Breakfast cereals are also not as healthy and safe as many people think.
This food also contains a lot of sugar and few nutrients.
Therefore, a healthier option is to at least eat whole grains that are minimally processed.
For breakfast, it is also useful to use proteins - beans, cheese, cottage cheese, chicken eggs.
Fats – avocado, olive oil, nuts, seeds.
Fiber – vegetables, legumes, fruits and berries.
We previously talked about gut health.
