It is better to plant especially tall bushes and trees in a well-lit sunny place, but with light shading during the hottest time of the day (from 12-00 to 14-00).

Then the needles of the plants will be brighter. For low-growing and creeping species, you can choose a site in slight partial shade.

What juniper doesn't like

Junipers do not mix well with pears. The reason is that these plants have the same rust pathogen, a fungal disease that can harm the plant.

If pears and junipers are planted close to each other and at least one plant gets sick, then the other can catch the disease.

Expanding the list of what to plant next to juniper, it is worth noting low shrubs (honeysuckle, cotoneaster).

Bulbous plants such as hyacinths, tulips or daffodils will also look very good.

Nevertheless, flowers with large inflorescences and lush crops are taboo.

Watering

If the autumn is dry and hot, then the junipers need to be watered once every two weeks (at the rate of 30 liters per bush).

Nevertheless, finely dispersed sprinkling of needles in dry weather must be carried out weekly, either in the morning or in the evening.
