When you fix something with glue, then you have high chances of leaving a few stains or drops of glue on a surface.

Usually, it's your table that suffers the most – it's almost impossible not to put some glue there by accident.

Here are a few tips on what you can do to fix it.

Assess the glue

Determine if the glue is still wet or if it has dried. Wet glue is usually easier to remove.

Scrape off excess glue

If the glue is dry, gently scrape off as much of it as possible using a plastic scraper or a credit card.

Be careful not to scratch the table surface.

Apply heat

If the glue is still wet or partially dried, you can use a hairdryer on low heat to soften it.

Hold the dryer a few inches away from the glue spot and move it back and forth until the glue becomes softer and easier to remove.

Use a mild detergent

Mix a small amount of mild dish soap with warm water to create a soapy solution.

Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the solution and gently scrub the remaining glue residue.

Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the table.

Rinse and dry

Once you have removed the glue, rinse the area with clean water to remove any soapy residue.

Wipe it dry with a clean, dry cloth.

Test a hidden area

If you are unsure how the table surface will react to the cleaning method, it is a good idea to test it on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn't cause any damage or discoloration.
