Couscous is rich in vitamin B5, which has a positive effect on vitality, strengthens the immune system, fights chronic fatigue and depression, and even treats insomnia. In addition, B5 improves skin and hair regeneration.

How to steam couscous

The taste of couscous is neutral. It resembles a mango. To diversify the taste of this cereal, it is cooked in meat and vegetable broth. Before pouring the cereal, onion fried in vegetable oil, finely chopped carrots, bell pepper, salt, and spices are added to the broth.

Couscous should be steamed with boiling water in a ratio of 1: 1, in a saucepan or any container with a lid. A little more or less water - the porridge will either be very thin or raw and crunchy on the teeth. After pouring boiling water over the couscous, salt and pepper to your taste, stir with a fork and cover for 5-7 minutes.
