Adolescence in a child is one of the most difficult in education. In the article we will tell you what can aggravate the situation and the parent-child relationship.

Research results

According to a new study published in the Journal of Family Psychology, a chaotic home environment can worsen family relationships, in particular between a teenager and a mother.

The chaotic and unpredictable atmosphere in the family makes the child feel tense and anxious. In addition, it depletes the energy resources of parents, who find it more difficult to pay attention to their child and be attentive.

Children who grow up in unstable environments often have low self-esteem, increased levels of anxiety and stress, susceptibility to addictions, and self-doubt.

During the study, researchers analyzed 109 pairs of mothers and adolescents, taking into account factors such as gender, age and financial status.
