While many fruits can be successfully stored in the freezer, some fruits do not freeze well due to their high water content and delicate cell structures. 

Freezing can cause these fruits to become mushy, lose their texture, and develop off-flavors. 

Here are some examples of fruits that do not freeze well.

Strawberries

While strawberries can be frozen, they tend to become mushy when thawed, which may make them less desirable for eating raw.

Meanwhile, they are perfect for baking and making desserts or smoothies.

Citrus Fruits

Freezing citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, and limes can cause their cell walls to rupture, resulting in a change in texture and flavor.

At the same time, frozen lemon can be a perfect ice replacement in summer.

Grapes

Grapes can become soft and mushy when frozen, though some people may still enjoy them as frozen treats.

Eating grapes while still frozen can be a good ice-cream replacement.

Apples

While apples can be frozen, they may lose their crispness and turn soft when thawed, making them less suitable for eating fresh.

Therefore, freezing apples is only great if you want to use apples for baking and making desserts, yogurts, smoothies.
